朝、身支度をした後、帰国の準備を完全に終わらせる。全員集まったとこで、近くの漢方薬の店へ。茶葉とお茶に入れる菊の花を購入。その後、フイ宅に戻り鍋を食す。ナマコや魚の浮き袋などが入っていた。味はやっぱり珍味。というか殆んど味はなかった。フイの家族と別れを交わし、フイ宅を後にする。SPのデパートへ行き、土産として正月に食べる豆とタラの加工品を購入。マレー系のブローチも購入。ペナンの航空へ向かう。時間が余っていたので、空港近くのデパートに立ち寄る。スタバのようなカフェに入り時間をつぶす。その後空港へ。手続きを済ませ、フイ・リンチアと別れを交わす。飛行機に搭乗。ペナンを眼下に望む。クアラルンプールまでは、小型機で始終ベルトのランプがつきっぱだった。クアラルンプールから途中、島の空港に立ち寄り。成田へ向かった。機内で服を着込む。映画を観ながら0時過ぎに就寝。
