夜中、何度もトイレに起きた。その度に水分を補給すした。朝起きると、汗でびっしょりだった。体調は万全と言えないが、それでもかなりよくなった。朝食としてココアとクラッカーを食す。
クアランプールツアーのミニバス到着。近所の食堂であんまんと肉まんを食べ、出発。
移動時間が計六時間程度あり、サスペンションの悪い車だったため、車から降りる度に平地酔いにかかる。
クアランプール到着。王様の住まいや博物館、図書館、最高裁判所、うつぼの噴水、歴史ある駅、ツインタワー等を車窓から眺めた。そして、中華系の寺に到着。境内から爆音のラップが聞こえてきたことに驚く。ここにも十二支の像が置いてあり、それぞれに説明書きがあった。牛は安定しているそうだ。牛と記念撮影。寺の中へ、流れているラップはクリスマスのイベントを準備しているところからだった。本堂には棒を持ち上げて落としたとき、上にあがっている一本を引くタイプのおみくじが置いてあり、挑戦。英語と中国語で書かれた紙にはとてもいい事が書かれているみたいだ。
昼食、寺近くのうまいと評判らしい食堂へ。この旅初の中華テーブル。便利さを実感。料理はあんかけ、湯で野菜など、うまかったはず。美味しいものになれ、食欲もなかったためあまり覚えていない。
ホテルに到着、さすがに安い金額に見合った感じ。荷物を置いて小一時間休憩。部屋が寒いため、全体的に調子を悪くする。あゆみが再びダウン、かなり深刻なようだ。夜の予定のことでもめる。広東語か何かわからない言葉で話しているため、会話に入れないのが悔しい。とりあえず途中友達に会いに別れていたフイをむかえにいく。もどると、あゆみがどーにか復活できたらしく、伊勢丹で一時間ほどショッピング。領収書をその場で書いてもらい、それをキャッシャーに持っていき支払うという方式だった。単独行動しインチキ英会話でリングとバッグを購入。意外と何不便なく店員とやりとりできた。
ホテルにもどり、カウントダウンには行かず、部屋にで飲むことに。テキトーにカウントダウン。一時ごろ就寝。
